Aims and Scope

The Journal of New Business Ideas & Trends is a multidisciplinary journal with a broad base of content and style. It publishes original high quality papers written by both academics and practitioners, which capture leading edge developments, both in practice and theory. Authors may take a theoretical or an empirical approach, using either quantitative or qualitative methods. The Journal aims to be an international forum for disseminating vital information and knowledge regarding new business thinking and is published by the Australian Business Education Research Association.

The objective of the Journal is to present and stimulate research that provides insight into new business ideas and trends, The goal is to broaden the knowledge of business professionals and academicians by promoting free access and provide valuable insight to business-related information, research and ideas.The Journal especially welcomes manuscripts that deal with issues that have cross-disciplinary impact or address a greater connection between theory and practice.

Areas that may be covered by the journal are emerging trends and concerns in the areas of:

JNBIT is published twice annually. There are no Fees or charges for submission or publication.

JNBIT is a refereed journal the articles are selected for publication on the basis of a double blind review process. Reviewers are encouraged to take a "collaborationist" approach in the sense that they should do more than point out flaws and should suggest design improvements, new ideas, relevant references and follow-up studies. As consequence reviewers may be offered the opportunity to publish commentaries to accompany the article.

It is a condition of publication that manuscripts submitted to this journal have not been published and will not be simultaneously submitted or published elsewhere. By submitting a manuscript, the authors agree that the copyright for their paper is transferred to the publisher, if and when the paper is accepted for publication.
